EVM ↔ Canton

How OranjSwap works

Swap Bitcoin-backed tokens across chains. Both legs share one secret. Managed wallets use an on-ledger Canton HTLC; Loop wallets use trust-minimized standard transfers with venue recovery.

Step 1

Lock your side

You sign to lock your asset on EVM or Canton. The amount, counterparty, and refund deadline are fixed on-chain — nobody can rewrite them later.

Step 2

Both legs lock

Managed wallets use hashlocks on both legs. Loop wallets use standard Canton transfers with durable venue delivery and refund recovery because Loop cannot vet the custom HTLC contract.

Step 3

Claim or refund

Reveal the secret to claim what you're owed; the same secret completes the other leg. If the swap stalls, timelocks refund each side independently.
